From Highway 101...driving southbound from Goleta, Calif:

Cal Orchid and Santa Barbara Orchid Estate
Take the Patterson exit from 101 and turn toward the ocean; go about two miles south, following the yellow divider line to where it ends into Orchid Drive. You will find both locations up the hill in a neighborhood, after three speed bumps. On the left is Santa Barbara Orchid Estate (1250 Orchid Drive, Santa Barbara, 93111). On the right, down the street and at the dead-end is Cal-Orchid (1251 Orchid Drive, Santa Barbara, 93111).

Return to the 101, turn right on the Patterson Ave. onramp and continue for approximately 15 1/2 miles through Santa Barbara towards Carpinteria.

Gallup & Stribling Orchids and Westerlay Orchids
Take the Santa Claus exit from 101 and turn north toward the mountains. Turn left on Via Real and continue about .4 miles to Gallup & Stribling (3450 Via Real, Carpinteria, 93013). Continue to Westerlay Orchids (3504 Via Real, Carpinteria).

Return to 101 South and continue approximately 3 miles to the Bailard Ave. exit.

Orchids Royale
Take the Bailard Ave. exit, and turn right. Turn left on Via Real. Continue approximately one block, past Poplar St. Turn right onto the paved road between two fields of gypsophila. Continue 50 yards forward and veer right at the fork in the road. Continue on the winding road for 1/4 mile, past the avocado orchards. You will see the Orchids Royale greenhouses and nursery on your left. (5902 Via Real, Carpinteria, CA 93013).

Return to the 101 South and continue for approximately 44 miles.

Zuma Orchids
Turn left off of Highway 1 at Bonsall Dr. and continue to Zuma Canyon Orchids (5949 Bonsall Dr., Malibu, 90265)
